1155 Aënna
1155 Aënna is a main belt asteroid orbiting the Sun. Approximately 12 kilometers in diameter, it makes a revolution around the Sun once every 4 years. It was discovered by Karl Wilhelm Reinmuth at Heidelberg, Germany on January 26, 1928.[1] The name contains the German pronunciation of the initials "A" and "N" followed by the feminine ending, to honor the Astronomische Nachrichten. The name was proposed by the Astronomisches Rechen-Institut. The provisional designation for the asteroid was 1928 BD.[2]
